Five years ago, the table tennis associations of Baden and Württemberg merged, and chess players are now considering a similar move. full mergers are more challenging for larger sports, but time is of the essence.

This leads us to tennis.With the third-highest membership numbers in the state – behind gymnastics and football – tennis is a significant sport. The Baden Tennis Association (BTV) and the Württemberg Tennis Association (WTB) aren’t planning a full merger right now.Rather, they’re merging the game itself, a move some consider revolutionary.

Here’s the plan: the ten existing districts of the BTV and WTB will consolidate into eight new regions.
