Xiaomi Indonesia Launches Flagship-Class Xiaomi 15T Series

Xiaomi Indonesia officially introduced the Xiaomi 15T Series, differentiating itself in the flagship class. this series represents a key step in Xiaomi’s product development strategy, emphasizing superior photography, performance, and design for Indonesian users.

The Xiaomi 15T series consists of the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro, both designed thru product development combining user research with the latest technology integration.

“Through the Xiaomi 15T Series, we want to bring a flagship experience that is increasingly accessible for Indonesian users. Last year, our T series received a warm welcome, and this time we came with a notable increase on the optical, technology and design sides. The Xiaomi 15T series is an important momentum on our journey to present innovations and reliable technology for more people,” said Andi Renreng, Xiaomi Indonesia’s Marketing Director during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday (30/9/2025).

Xiaomi’s development of the 15T series employs a clear differentiation strategy,focusing on content through leica camera technology,context via distribution strategies,and infrastructure through smart ecosystem integration.

The Leica triple camera system is a central feature of the product development. The Xiaomi 15T Pro is equipped with a 5x optical zoom telephoto camera and 20x Ultra Zoom.

“The telephoto lens is one of the features most requested by Xiaomi users. Therefore,for the first time we present it in the T Series so that the mobile photography experience of users is more optimal. This is the reason we carry the tagline Masterpieces Far Closer because with the Xiaomi 15T series, a distant moment can now feel closer and more meaningful,” said Jesen, Product Marketing Lead Xiaomi Indonesia.

The 50MP main camera with the Leica summilux lens further reinforces product differentiation. The Pro variant features a Light Fusion 900 sensor supporting a 13.5 EV dynamic range for more accurate colors.

A 32MP front camera completes the package, supporting high-quality selfies and video calls. This combination positions the Xiaomi 15T Series as a product development focused on photography.

Actor Dion Wiyoko, a photography enthusiast, experienced the camera’s capabilities firsthand.

“As someone who likes photography, I feel for myself how the Xiaomi 15T series can capture moments with authentic, detailed Leica, directly from the grip,” Dion said.

Dion also praised the integration of editing features,noting that the completeness of editing tools within the smartphone is a key difference from conventional cameras.

“After taking pictures, I can instantly explore AI features such as removing objects, color settings, and filters.”
