FBI Identifies Fugitive Who Died in Asheville After Decades on the Run
Asheville, N.C. – John Anthony Quinn, a federal fugitive wanted for nearly 40 years in connection with a $1.3 million armored car heist, died in an Asheville hospital in December 2025. He was identified by the FBI through fingerprint analysis.
