Madrid Prepares for National Festival of Spain
Madrid is gearing up to be the central hub for the National Festival of Spain. While Columbus day falls on October 12, the capitalS celebrations begin October 3 with a variety of cultural activities, with concerts taking center stage. This year, the highlight will be a performance by Gloria Estefan, but five stages throughout the city will also host artists like Henry Méndez, Bomba Estéreo, María José Llergo, and Rita Payés.
Gloria Estefan to Headline Hispanicity 2025
The major musical event of Hispanicity 2025 is Gloria Estefan’s concert. The Cuban singer will deliver the opening proclamation on October 3, and will perform a free concert on Columbus Square on October 5 at 13:00 (1 PM).
Full Concert lineup for Plaza de España
As with other major events in the capital, Hispanicity 2025 will feature a stage in Plaza de España. The music program for this space begins on October 9 with the following artists:
- October 9: Sit (18:30), Alleging (19:00), and Good CALSO (22:00).
- October 10: I bite (19:00) and Dillom (21:30).
- October 11: Eliades ochoa (13:00),The Gangengaga (19:00),and Alizzz (21:30).
