Public Works Ministry too Stop Working on New Capital Next Year

Jakarta, CNN indonesia – The Ministry of Public Works (PU) will stop construction work on the new capital city, Nusantara (IKN), next year. The IKN Authority (OikN) will take over the projects.

Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti said the ministry will only finish existing multi-year contracts (MYC) at IKN. The Ministry of Public Works has been managing these projects as 2022.

“We hope to finish all MYC projects this year, no later than 2026,” Diana said, according to Detik Finance on Monday (August 25).
