Russian Drone Reach into europe

With the current launch infrastructure, The Russian Federation can attack Denmark, Germany and Italy with Shahed drones, and the placement of bases in Belarus would allow it to reach Madrid, according to Defense Express.

Following Russia’s attack on Poland with Gerbera drones and the emergence of unknown drones over airports in Norway and Denmark, an emergency question arises: how far can Russian unmanned aerial vehicles reach? According to the ukrainian Military Intelligence Service, the Geran-2 flight range is 1800-2500 km. Launch sites within currently occupied areas of Ukraine and western Russia could effectively target NATO countries in Europe. for example, there are launch sites in the temporarily occupied area of cape Chauda in Crimea and near the town of Bryansk.

Another strategically advantageous area is St. Petersburg, considered ideal for a launch site due to its accessibility and logistics.

Given the launch of drones from these locations, the range of Shahed drones (up to 1800 km) allows them to reach all of Scandinavia, the Netherlands, most of Germany and southern Italy. geran-2,with a range up to 2500 km,is capable of reaching the whole UK,Italy and most of France.

It is indeed worth noting that the creation of new drone launch sites in Russia only takes a few months. If necessary, new launch sites can be created quickly, such as Ocevi Air Base in Belarus.
