Vehicle Fire Causes Traffic Delays on E18 in Porsgrunn

On sunday at 4:21 PM, the Sør-East police district reported a vehicle fire on the E18 in Porsgrunn.

According to operations manager Tom Richard Skuggedal, the fire occurred northbound near Lanner. All three occupants of the vehicle were able to safely exit and were unharmed.

long queues formed in both directions as a result of the incident. While the Norwegian Public Roads Governance has since reopened the road, notable delays remain.

The fire was extinguished by 5:28 PM, and tow trucks are expected to arrive shortly to remove the vehicle.
