VANILLA.6’s 10th Anniversary Album “LAST DANCE” to Release November 12th, with Advance Single Available Now

VANILLA.6 will release their album “LAST DANCE” on November 12th.

VANILLA.6 is the project of ook-boy, an artist originally from Osaka, currently based in the UK.

This album commemorates the project’s 10th anniversary and marks their second full-length release. Their self-titled debut album, “VANILLA.6,” released in 2020, garnered attention for its spirit, impact, and quality that transcended typical indie music boundaries, emerging during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“LAST DANCE” represents a departure from previous band-oriented compositions, produced entirely as a solo project by ook-boy in England. The songs explore themes of empowerment and disillusionment experienced while navigating a new environment, and the tension between aspiration and reality, resulting in a deepened and expanded musical and poetic vision.

The album features eight new, high-energy tracks that blend indie rock foundations with influences from club music, bass music, soul, and R&B. It also includes six reimagined versions of signature songs, such as “90’s Milan” and “OWLS.”
