Worker Protests Prompt DPR Employees to Work From home

Jakarta – A mass demonstration by workers is planned simultaneously across all regions, centered around the DPR complex. In response, the DPR Secretariat (Setjen) has issued a circular urging civil servants (ASN) and experts (TA) to work from home (WFH).

The circular, numbered 14/SEKJen/2025, was signed by DPR Secretary General Indra Iskandar on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission III, Ahmad Sahroni, confirmed the circular’s existence regarding WFH for DPR employees and TA.

“Indeed,there is a circular from the election for WFH,” Sahroni stated when contacted on Thursday,August 28,2025.

Sahroni clarified that the circular applies only to ASN employees.
