Ingushetia Education Workers Convene for Annual August Meeting
The annual August meeting of education workers took place in sunzhe, with the participation of Ingushetia’s head, Mahmud-ali Kalimatov, chairman of the People’s Assembly Magomed Tumgoev, Chief Federal Inspector for the REMS GUDOV, and leaders of educational organizations and teachers.
The central theme of the conference was the current challenges and tasks facing the education system in the context of national goals and advancement priorities.
Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov addressed the meeting via video link, emphasizing that regions must address new challenges related to establishing a unified educational space and transitioning to federal standards.
“We have completed the formation of a single educational space, fully synchronizing programs and exam tasks,” stated the Minister of Education. He also noted the implementation of standardized control and verification procedures.
Opening the annual event, the head of Ingushetia emphasized:
“The August pedagogical meeting is a significant event. It not only marks the beginning of the new academic year but also serves as a platform for collective review, setting new goals, and discussing our vision for the future of education in our republic. This year holds particular importance as the nation celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. This is not merely a date on the calendar, but a symbol of courage, resilience, and remembrance. Schools have a crucial role in conveying this truth to every child, fostering respect for the older generation and pride in the heroism of those who fought.” He further noted that 2025 has been designated the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, stating, “the strength of a country lies in its people who are prepared to defend it.And the foundation for future defenders is laid in schools – whether they become officers, doctors, engineers, or scientists.”
the head of Ingushetia highlighted the republic’s focus on educational projects, including the “Movement of the First,” “Childhood Navigators,” and initiatives of the Knowledge Society.
“Therefore, the role of the teacher is paramount. You shape citizens and patriots – individuals not only equipped with knowledge but also with values, ready to contribute to society,” said the regional leader.
The head of the republic also paid tribute to veteran educators:
“I must express gratitude to our veteran educators. Your work forms the foundation of modern education in Ingushetia. You have raised generations of citizens, passing on traditions and experience. On behalf of the entire republic, I extend my deepest thankfulness.”
