Meta Launches “Creator Fast Track” Program, Paying TikTok and YouTube Stars to Post on Facebook

Meta is intensifying its efforts to attract creators from rival platforms like TikTok and YouTube by offering guaranteed monthly payments through a fresh program called “Creator Fast Track.” The initiative aims to incentivize creators to establish a presence and actively create content on Facebook, addressing the perceived difficulty of starting anew on the platform.

Financial Incentives for Creators

The Creator Fast Track program provides tiered monthly payments based on an established follower count on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. Creators with at least 100,000 followers on these platforms are eligible for $1,000 per month, while those exceeding 1 million followers can earn up to $3,000 monthly. CNBC reports that these guaranteed payments will be distributed over a three-month period.

Continued Monetization Opportunities

Beyond the initial three-month payment, creators accepted into the program will gain immediate access to Facebook’s Content Monetization program. This allows them to continue earning revenue from their content—including Reels, Stories, photos and text posts—based on performance, effectively removing typical initial requirements. About Facebook details this ongoing monetization access.

Content Flexibility and Requirements

A key aspect of the program is its flexibility regarding content exclusivity. Creators are not obligated to produce content solely for Facebook; they can even re-upload existing original content, including AI-generated material. However, participation requires posting a minimum of 15 Reels within a 30-day period, spread across at least 10 different days. TechRepublic highlights this posting requirement.

Meta’s Investment in the Creator Economy

This initiative is part of a broader trend of increased investment by Meta in the creator economy. In 2025, the company paid nearly $3 billion to creators, a 35% increase from the previous year, with approximately 60% of that total allocated to Reels content. This demonstrates Meta’s commitment to attracting and retaining creators on its platforms.

Program Availability

Currently, the Creator Fast Track program is targeted towards creators based in the United States and Canada who already have substantial followings on other social media platforms.
