oscar Piastri of McLaren starts in third, with teammate Lando Norris qualifying fifth. mclaren has the opportunity to secure the constructors’ title this weekend if they finish with a lead of more than 303 points over second place.

Isack Hadjar qualified eighth for Racing Bulls, 0.688s behind russell’s pole time. Lawson’s car required repairs twice in 24 hours, but the mechanics successfully prepared it for the race.
