Gorontalo DPRD Member Faces Dismissal Over Negative Wealth

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – A member of the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD from the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) faction, who went viral in a video related too alleged misuse of state funds, Wahyudin Moridu, has a negative wealth of Rp2 million.

The PDIP DPP has stated that Wahyudin is threatened with dismissal. The DPP PDIP will arrange for a cadre to replace Wahyudin in the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD.

According to the KPK e-LHKPN page, Wahyudin reported his assets to the KPK only once, while serving as Secretary of the PDIP Faction in the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD. The report was filed on March 26, 2025.
