A windshield enhances comfort for longer rides. The scooter’s overall aesthetic draws inspiration from the Honda Africa Twin, featuring dual LED projector headlights with unique DRL designs.
The HRD125 is equipped with front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, traction control (TCS), and a 5-inch color TFT instrument panel. Connectivity features include Wi-Link, NFC, and Bluetooth, with the ability to connect to a DJI action cam for recording control from the handlebars.
Additional features include a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), USB Type-A and Type-C ports, and a 35-liter under-seat storage compartment.
Performance and Specifications
The Honda HRD125 is powered by a 124.7cc eSP+ 4-valve liquid-cooled engine, producing 11.1 horsepower, and 11.7 Nm of torque. It also includes an Idling Stop system. Fuel consumption is rated at 47 km/liter, and with an 8.2-liter fuel tank, the scooter can travel over 380 km on a full tank.
Pricing and Availability
The Honda HRD125 is available in three variants, with prices ranging from approximately 31.8 million to 37.5 million Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). The scooter is currently marketed in China.
Competition
The HRD125 directly challenges the Yamaha Zuma in the global adventure scooter market, and the Yamaha Force X 125 in the Chinese domestic market.
