The director discussed this during an appearance on the Peacemaker: The Official Podcast, where actor Tim Meadows jokingly suggested a fight between his Peacemaker Season 2 character, langston Fleury, and guy Gardner’s Green Lantern.
Gunn quickly dismissed the idea of Fleury winning, stating that Green Lantern is powerful enough to even challenge Superman. “I’m not sure Superman would beat Green Lantern. I definitely don’t think Langston fleury is going to beat Green Lantern,” Gunn said.
When Jennifer Holland, who portrays Emilia Harcourt in Peacemaker, argued that Superman would win, Gunn conceded, “He’s Superman, but it’s still a fight. It’s a real fight.”
