East Kolaka Regent Arrested by KPK

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested the East Kolaka Regent Abdul Azis after he completed the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) agenda of the NasDem Party in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Thursday night.

The Surya Paloh cadre was immediately questioned by the KPK at the South Sulawesi Regional Police.

“the questioning began last night and is currently ongoing at the South Sulawesi Regional Police,” said KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto when contacted via text message on Friday.
