Los Angeles County Easter and Spring Events 2026

Los Angeles County is brimming with springtime festivities in March and April 2026, offering a variety of events for families and individuals alike. From traditional Easter egg hunts to cultural celebrations and nature walks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

March 21

Spring Jubilee – County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation

Celebrate springtime with activities including egg hunts, crafts, games, performances and food tasting, through March 28. Events will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. At El Cariso Community Regional Park (13100 Hubbard St., Sylmar; 818-367-5043) and Crescenta Valley Park (3901 Dunsmore Ave., La Crescenta; 818-249-5940). Mason Park Recreation Center’s Barnyard Egg Hunt

This event includes arts and crafts, games, music, and a moonbounce, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Timed egg hunts are scheduled for ages 12 and younger. Participants should bring a basket for the egg hunt. The schedule is as follows: ages 1-2 (with one adult only) at 11:30 a.m.; ages 3-5 at noon; ages 6-9 at 12:30 p.m.; and ages 10-12 at 1 p.m. Location: 10500 Mason Ave., Chatsworth. 818-998-6377. March 28

City of Alhambra’s Peeps and Pedals – Welcoming Spring

This event, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., includes live entertainment, inflatable bounce houses, crafts, a photo booth, a bike rodeo, and a petting zoo. Explore Alhambra Police Department and Alhambra Fire Department vehicles and equipment in the “Pedal Power Pavilion.” Admission is free, and food trucks will be present. Spring Equinox – Chatsworth Nature Preserve

The LADWP presents this event, beginning with a Native American blessing ceremony, followed by guided nature hikes, live animal exhibitions, interactive storytelling, and community and environmental resource information, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dogs, cigarettes, bikes, scooters, and drones are prohibited. Admission is free. Street parking is available, with limited on-site parking. Use the entry gate on Valley Circle Boulevard, west of Plummer Street, Chatsworth. Spring Egg Hunt at Granada Hills Recreation Center

This event includes arts and craft activities, contests, games, and jumpers, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Children should bring a basket. Timed egg hunts are scheduled by age group: ages 2 and younger at noon; ages 3-5 at 12:10 p.m.; ages 6-7 at 12:20 p.m.; ages 8-9 at 12:30 p.m.; and ages 10-12 at 12:40 p.m. Location: 16730 Chatsworth St. 818-363-3556. April 4

“Egg” straordinary Spring Celebration

The City of San Gabriel and San Gabriel Kiwanis Club present the 81st annual event, from 7-11 a.m. The schedule includes a coloring contest (7:30 a.m.), pancake races (9 a.m. For ages 7-16 and adults; bring your own pancake turner/spatula), and an egg hunt (10 a.m. For ages 12 and younger; bring your own basket). Egg Hunt in the Heights – Long Beach

The Belmont Heights Community Association, in partnership with the Port of Long Beach, presents this event, which features more than 4,000 hidden eggs, starting at 9 a.m. Sharp. Separate areas will be designated for highly young and older children. Belmont the Bunny will be available for photos. City of Baldwin Park’s Spring Fest and Egg Hunt

This event includes a bunny craft activity, photos with the Bunny, a magic show, inflatable play areas, a bubble zone, a butterfly exhibit, and egg hunts, from 9 a.m.-noon. Egg hunts begin at 10:45 a.m. (arranged by age groups in designated areas). Children demand to bring a basket. Parents and bystanders will not be allowed in the “hunt zones.” Admission is free. Giant Egg Hunt – Our Redeemer Lutheran Church

The event begins with welcoming words by Pastor Gregory Barth, music, and a song by the preschoolers, followed by egg hunts (arranged by age groups, 5th graders and younger) in designated areas, from 10:30 a.m.-noon.
