KPK Picks Up Entrepreneur in Supreme Court Case

Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has forcibly brought in entrepreneur Menas Erwin Djohansyah (Med) in connection with the case involving former Supreme Court (MA) Secretary Hasbi Hasan. Menas has arrived at KPK headquarters.

detikcom monitoring at the KPK Building in Kuningan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (9/24/2025), showed Menas arriving around 8:41 PM local time. He was dressed in black pants, a blue jacket, and a mask.

Menas was escorted by several officers and taken to the KPK examination room. He briefly gave a thumbs-up to the media.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that Menas was arrested after failing to appear for two scheduled examinations without a valid reason. The arrest took place in the BSD area of South Tangerang.

“The arrest was made considering the individual had not been present twice for scheduled examinations without justification. The team carried out the arrest in the BSD region,” he said.

He added that the case concerns “alleged acts of corruption in case management within the Supreme Court (MA) habitat.”
