Indonesian Students in Tunisia Asked to Bring Cigarettes,Cosmetics in Welcome Letter
Jakarta,CNN Indonesia — The Indonesian Students Association (PPI) Tunisia has addressed a letter circulating on social media that requires new Indonesian students to bring items such as cigarettes,headscarves,and cosmetics.
The circular letter, headed by PPI Tunisia and circulating on X, requires all new students to bring items according to the type and total weight criteria as stated in the letter.
“If new students do not fulfill the obligation to carry entrusted items and provide grants in accordance with the stipulated provisions, the person concerned will be subject to administrative sanctions or other sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations,” the letter states.

Through its official Instagram account, PPI Tunisia stated that the requested items are part of efforts to empower and manage organizational funds.
PPI Tunisia stated that all procurement and delivery activities are carried out using official funds.
