Yamaha Launches the Distinctive Vinoora 125 Scooter in Taiwan

yamaha has officially introduced the Yamaha Vinoora 125 to the Taiwanese market. This automatic scooter instantly catches the eye with its unconventional, quirky design – some observers have noted a resemblance to popular animated characters!

The Vinoora 125 embodies a ‘Newtro Fashion’ concept, seamlessly blending retro aesthetics with modern elements. It’s specifically targeted towards younger riders seeking a unique and expressive style on the road.

The scooter’s front end features an oval-shaped face and rounded headlights that create a distinctive, eye-like appearance. A generously sized front fender flows directly into this facial design, contributing to its memorable look.

While the front of the Vinoora 125 is undeniably unusual, the design transitions to a more futuristic feel towards the midsection and rear. The rear lights, seating, and body accents echo the styling often seen in electric scooters.Yamaha has equipped the Vinoora 125 with several convenient features, including a Smart Key System complete with a voice-activated vehicle location function, simplifying the process of finding a parked scooter. Improvements have also been made to the baggage compartment opening.

Existing features are also retained,such as full-LED lighting,a digital instrument panel,a mobile charging port,a keyless wireless ignition system,and conveniently located fuel tank and luggage access near the dashboard.Powering the unique scooter is a 125cc Blue Core engine – the same unit found in the Yamaha limi and Axis Z – producing 8.2 horsepower and 9.7 Nm of torque.Fuel efficiency is rated at an extraordinary 54.6 kilometers per liter.

The Yamaha Vinoora 125 is currently available for purchase in Taiwan, with a price tag of NT $72,000, which translates to approximately Rp. 40 million.
