Harvard and Trump Reach Agreement
Washington – Negotiations between the President of the United States Donald Trump and Harvard University finally ended in an agreement. This happened after months of negotiations colored by tension.
Trump said that based on the agreement, Harvard would pay US $500 million (approximately Rp 8.3 trillion) and would operate vocational schools.
“Linda is completing the end details,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Room of the White House, referring to US Minister of Education Linda McMahon, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday (2025/10/01).
“And they will pay around US $500 million and they will operate vocational schools. They will teach people about how to use AI and many othre things,machines,many things,” Trump said of Harvard.
Harvard has not commented on Trump’s latest statement.
