Italy’s Brightest Students honored as New “Alfieri del Lavoro”

Twenty-five remarkable students from across Italy and one from Frankfurt,Germany,will be recognized tomorrow morning at teh Quirinale Palace by the President of the Republic,Sergio Mattarella,as the newest “Alfieri del Lavoro” (labor Knights). These students have distinguished themselves by achieving top marks in their upper secondary school studies. The ceremony also celebrates newly appointed Knights of Labor, previously nominated on Republic Day.

The Alfieri del Lavoro Tradition

The “Alfieri del Lavoro” award, established in 1961 by the National Federation of the Knights of Labor, honors young Italians who exemplify academic excellence and promise. The awardees receive the Medal of the President of the Republic, a prestigious national honor. The initiative aims to recognize and encourage the next generation of skilled and dedicated workers. The Knights of Labor association promotes the values of work, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
