Lucas Braathen Wins Historic World Cup Slalom for Brazil

Lucas Pinheiro Braathen delivered a historic performance for Brazil on Sunday,securing the nation’s first-ever World Cup victory in skiing. The 25-year-old triumphed in the slalom event at Levi, finland.

Braathen finished 0.31 seconds ahead of defending champion Clement Noel. finnish skier Eduard Hallberg surprised with a strong performance, finishing third, 0.57 seconds behind Braathen.

The Austrian team saw Michael Matt achieve the best result, finishing ninth with a time 1.31 seconds slower than Braathen. fabio Gstrein placed tenth (+1.32 seconds), and Manuel feller finished eleventh (+1.40 seconds).
