ankara – Tens of thousands of people held a exhibition in the capital of Turkey to protest a court case that could depose the leader of the country’s main opposition. This protest was held after a year of legal prosecution by the Turkish government against the main opposition party.
Live footage from the demonstration, as reported by reuters on Monday (9/15/2025), showed demonstrators in action on Sunday (9/14) shouting demands for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to resign from his position.
The demonstrators raised the Turkish flag and the Republican People’s Party (CHP) banner during the action.
