“Splendida Cornice” Defies the Trend

How much stuff! How many guests! So much music! How much everything! Geppi Cucciari and his “Splendida Cornice” are finally back – the only cultural entertainment program that has resisted the influx of newcomers (Rai3).

Describing brilliance is something we’ve done often with Geppi, but it’s worth repeating. he shines whether duetting with Gianni Morandi, a perfect imitator of Mogol, remembering Mattia Torre (“Kindness is the last political act we have left”), recalling his first talk on sex with Camila Raznovich (“Loveline” on MTV in 2001), or paying homage to Stefano Benni’s comic talent with actresses Brenda Lodigiani and Gianna Serra. And let’s not forget the theme song, dedicated to Raffaella Carrà.
