MUI Urges Indonesia to Reject Normalization with Israel

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — Islamic Ulema council (MUI) together with Islamic organizations, religious assemblies, philanthropic institutions, academics and Palestinian defense agencies declared nine points in commemoration of Al Aqsa Storm.

The call that was read at the Central MUI office in Jakarta coincided with a two-year commemoration of Al-Aqsa Hurricane or Israeli Massive Attack to the region Gaza, Palestine.

One of the nine points read by the Chairperson of the Central MUI in the field of Foreign Relations and International Cooperation, Sudarnoto Abdul Hakim is to invite all Indonesian nations and Muslims throughout the world to leave divisions and reject normalization with Israeli invaders.

“Inviting all Indonesian nations and Muslims throughout the world to leave divisions, reject normalization with Israeli invaders, and unite in a row of faith and humanity for the liberation of Palestinian and safety of the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” Sudarnoto said in the Hall of Buya Hamka, MUI Office, Jakarta, tuesday (7/10) as quoted by the official MUI page.

They also urged the Indonesian government to be firm in all forms of propaganda and pro-Zionist movements in Indonesia.In addition, demanding that the Indonesian government open communication with resistance factions in Palestine.

He said the move was to strengthen the Palestinian national unity while thwarting the Israeli plan to colonize Palestine.
