Pertamina Apologizes for Fuel Quality Complaints in East Java

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga apologized to the public for complaints from motorbike users experiencing engine trouble after filling up with Pertalite fuel in East Java.

The apology was delivered by Mars Ega Legowo Putra, Main Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga.

“We express our deepest apologies to all consumers who experienced inconvenience due to this incident,” he said in an official statement on Wednesday, October 29.

Pertamina will immediately conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the disruption and alert consumer service posts in the affected areas.

Mars Ega added that laboratory tests show Pertalite products from the tuban and Surabaya terminals meet quality standards. However, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues investigations at the gas station level to ensure quality in distribution.
