Drone Attack Reported in Siberian City

A drone attack targeted an industrial site Monday evening in Tyumen, Siberia, authorities announced. This is teh first such attack in the city, which is over 1,100 miles from Ukraine.

Regional authorities said on Telegram that three drones were “detected and neutralized” at a company in the Anti-Pino district, east of Tyumen. The origin of the drones isn’t yet known, and Ukraine hasn’t claimed obligation. Local media reports suggest a major oil refinery was the target.

A drone strike killed four people in the Russian-occupied part of Ukraine’s Kherson region, according to Vladimir Saldo, the Moscow-appointed official in the territory. He accused Kyiv of deliberately targeting civilians.

Saldo said on Telegram the four people died on a road between Zavodivka and Gornostaivka during a Ukrainian drone attack targeting civilian vehicles.
