Saudi Arabia Executes Anti-Government Protester

Riyadh – Saudi Arabian authorities executed a man who human rights groups and UN experts identify as a demonstrator involved in anti-government protests.

He was a minor when he participated in the 2011 protests, which are uncommon in Saudi Arabia.

“The death sentence has been carried out against Abdullah al-Derazi,a Saudi citizen,in the Eastern Province,” reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA),according to New Arab on October 21,2025.
