Ustaz with Initials EE in Bandung Reported to Police by Ex-Wife regarding Alleged Child Abuse

Bandung – A religious leader with the initials EE, well-known in the city of Bandung, has been reported to the Bandung polrestabes (Bandung City Police) for allegedly committing acts of domestic violence against his biological child, NAT. This case was reported by the victim’s biological mother.

“That’s right, the reporter filed a report on July 4, 2025,” saeid the Head of Criminal Examination Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the Bandung Polrestabes, AKBP Rahman, when confirmed, as reported by detikjabar on Tuesday (8/26/2025).

AKBP Rahman stated that investigators have examined the reported party. “Witnesses are still being examined. The reported party has been examined and will be called in for further questioning,” he said.

The victim’s attorney, Rio Damas Putra, said the incident began when his client, Nat, went to his father’s house in the Bandung City area at around 11:00 WIB. At that time, EE was at the mosque performing Friday prayers. Nat was then welcomed by her grandmother, T, who was not particularly welcoming.

After Friday prayers, EE arrived home and promptly met with his second child. According to Rio, his client came with good intentions, namely to establish communication with his father.
