Tel Aviv – Israel mobilized influencer troops on social media to influence public opinion about the war in the Gaza Strip. Each influencer reportedly receives fantastic payment up to US $7,000 or equivalent to Rp 116.2 million per Israeli propaganda post.

This step, as reported by Middle East Monitor on Friday (3/10/2025), was carried out when global public opinion began to shift sharply against the war in the Gaza Strip, with accusations of genocide against the Jewish state becoming increasingly widespread.

In operations intensified on social media, Israel is increasingly intensifying efforts to dominate the information space through paid influencer networks, algorithm manipulation, content framing involving AI, and secret or covert media partnerships.

The practice was revealed from documents submitted based on the Foreign Agent registration Law of the United States of America (US), which shows how the Israeli campaign is broadly designed to distort public discourse, especially among young people, and fend off increasing genocide accusations.
