Trump Appears Confused During Welcome ceremony in Japan

Tokyo – A small incident occurred during the state welcoming ceremony for the President of the United States of America (AS) Donald Trump who visited Japan on Tuesday (28/10).Trump, who was supposed to bow in front of the US and Japanese flags, instead continued walking and surprised Prime Minister (PM) Sanae Takaichi.

The state welcoming ceremony, involving Japanese soldiers and the country’s top officials, was held for Trump at the State Guest House in Motoakasaka, Tokyo, on Tuesday (28/10) local time, as reported by The Self-reliant and The Asia Business Daily on Wednesday (29/10/2025).

A number of incidents occurred during the ceremony,with Trump appearing confused about being guided by PM Takaichi. The incident was captured by journalists’ cameras and became a topic of discussion among netizens.
