Israel to Intensify Attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon

Jakarta – The Israeli government has signaled it will ramp up military operations in Lebanon targeting Hezbollah. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hezbollah of rearming and called on the Lebanese government to disarm the Iran-backed group.

Even though a ceasefire with the Lebanese militant group was reached in November 2024, israel still maintains troops in five areas of southern Lebanon and continues to launch regular attacks.

“Hezbollah is playing with fire,and the Lebanese president is stalling,” Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement,according to AFP on Monday,November 3,2025.
