Israel Demands Lebanon Disarm Hezbollah

Jakarta – Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz is pushing Lebanon to take action against Hezbollah. He’s calling on the Lebanese government to fulfill it’s promise to disarm the group and remove them from southern Lebanon. It’s a strong demand as Israel continues to launch attacks.

four Hezbollah members were reportedly killed in the latest Israeli strikes Saturday night,according to the Israeli military. Israel warns it’ll ramp up attacks if disarmament doesn’t happen quickly. They don’t want to wait.

“hezbollah is playing with fire, and the Lebanese president is too slow to act,” Minister Katz stated. He feels lebanon isn’t taking the threat seriously enough.
