Over 1,000 props from the series “The Walking Dead” are currently being auctioned off at Heritage Auctions. the vast majority are costumes adn smaller weapons, but some vehicles are also for sale – such as the Winnebago Chieftain driven by the character Dale Horvath, which played an crucial role as transport and shelter in seasons 1 and 2.

False Blood on the Interior Carpet

The 1973 Winnebago Chieftain appears unremarkable at first glance, but some details reveal its “the Walking Dead” past. These include the fake blood on the interior carpet and, for fans, the clearly visible curved lettering “Dale & Irma Horvath” on the passenger side.

So far, no enthusiastic fan has emerged for the vehicle, as the price remains at the starting bid of $5,000. However, this doesn’t necessarily meen anything – the auction doesn’t end until the end of October. The auction house does emphasize that the technical condition is unclear.

Why This Pontiac is Unique

The starting bid for a much lesser-known candidate – a Pontiac Tempest LeMans wiht a GTO package – is at least $25,000.
