As of 2025, Toyota remains the world’s best-selling automaker, with sales exceeding 11.32 million units. The Japanese automotive giant, encompassing the Toyota, Lexus, Hino, and Daihatsu brands, maintains a strong lead. Volkswagen Group follows in second place, recording 8.98 million units sold. Toyota Motor Corporation generated ¥45.1 trillion ($302 billion) in revenue for fiscal 2024.
