12 Countries Announce Financial Support for Palestinian Authority

madrid – A total of 12 countries, including Britain, France, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Spain, announced a new coalition to support the Palestinian Authority financially. This support comes as the Palestinian authority faces a funding shortage as Israel is withholding their tax revenue.

The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated,as reported by AFP (Saturday 27/9/2025),that the new coalition is named “emergency Coalition for the financial sustainability of the Palestinian Authority”.

“It was formed in response to the urgent and unprecedented financial crisis faced by the Palestinian authorities,” the Spanish Foreign Ministry explained, outlining the reasons for the coalition’s formation.
