Medvedev Warns Europe of War Risk with Russia

Moscow – Former Russia president Dmitry Medvedev said that Europe won’t be able to withstand a war against Russia. Medvedev warned that if European leaders make mistakes and start a war with Moscow, it could escalate to a conflict involving weapons of mass destruction.

The statement, as reported by Reuters on Monday (29/9/2025), came from Medvedev, who now serves as Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, in a recent Telegram post. This was made as tensions increased between Moscow and European countries that are members of the NATO alliance.

Medvedev said Russia doesn’t want such a war, even with “unfriendly Old Europe.”
