Mysterious Drones Halt Flights at German Airport

Jakarta – Flights were suspended for nearly two hours at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, Germany, due to the presence of mysterious drones. This incident is the latest in a string of similar events across Europe, according to an airport spokesperson.

Takeoffs and landings were halted between 8:08 PM (7:08 PM GMT) and 9:58 PM on Friday, October 31st, local time. Several flights were diverted to other German cities during the suspension.

Berlin’s night flight ban was temporarily lifted to minimize disruption to flight operations, AFP reported on Saturday, November 1st, 2025.
