Husband Accused in Bulgaria Fire Death; Domestic Violence Allegations Surface
Parvomay, Bulgaria – Relatives of a woman who died in a fire in Parvomay are accusing her husband of arson and allege a history of domestic violence. The incident occurred on February 19th, and the husband was reportedly in the village of Kamenovo, Burgas, at the time.
Details of the Incident
According to reports, the fire was officially attributed to gasoline being poured into a solid fuel stove Parvomay. The victim was in the bathroom when the fire broke out.
Allegations of Domestic Violence
The victim’s sister, Daniela Vasileva, told Nova TV that the woman had endured two years of “fighting, and harassment.” The victim’s father, Radi Vasilev, also believes his daughter was intentionally set on fire by her husband.
Previous Complaint
Relatives claim the woman filed a complaint against her husband regarding domestic violence but later withdrew it.
