Iran says It Will Use More Powerful Missiles If Israel Attacks Again

Tehran – The Iranian government says it is ready to respond to new attacks from Israel. Tehran also announced it has developed missiles that are more powerful than those used in the recent conflict with Tel Aviv last June.

“the missiles used in the 12-day war were made a few years ago,” Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nassirzadeh said in a statement, according to the news agency Irna and reported by AFP on August 20, 2025.

“Today, we have produced missiles with much greater capabilities than the previous ones, and if the enemy starts another attack, we will definitely use them,” Nassirzadeh stated on Wednesday, August 20th.
