Massive Attacks: Russia Fires 580 Drones, 40 Missiles at Ukraine

Jakarta – Russia fired 580 drones and 40 missiles at Ukraine in “massive attacks,” one of the biggest in recent weeks. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said the russian attack killed three people and injured dozens of others.

Even with the United States trying to help create peace, russia continued to attack Ukraine with drones and missiles. Kyiv blames Moscow for intentionally making peace efforts harder.

“Throughout the night, Ukraine was attacked on a large scale by Russia. The enemy launched 40 missiles – cruising and ballistic – and around 580 drones of various types,” Zelensky said on social media, reported by the news agency AFP Saturday (2025/09/20).
