MINOT, N.D. – Demolition of Dakota Hall, one of Minot State University’s oldest buildings, began on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, marking the finish of an era for the university. The building, which served as the university’s second residence hall, was constructed in 1931 and ceased operation in 2020 due to deteriorating conditions.
