Lovelive: My Career? A Bluff. I Was Molested at 8 Years Old. My Daughters Have to Get Two Degrees
By Renato Franco
The former MTV presenter, now at «Kilimangiaro», goes on stage with the show-event «Lovelive» and reveals a painful past and aspiring plans for his daughters. “My career? A bluff,” he confesses. “I was molested at 8 years old.” And regarding his children, he states firmly, “My daughters have to get two degrees.”
A Taste for irony: “We uterines travel on multiple levels of thought at the same time which create mess, but in the mess we then find order.”
What are the three most deeply rooted taboos in sex?
“The first is female masturbation. When the mother of a boy finds the door closed she is very proud. The female who masturbates oscillates between the mentally ill, the freak and the maniac.”
The second?
“Male homosexuality: penetration is not easily accepted. Female homosexuality, on the other hand, is dismissed with one sentence: it’s a phase, she loves her friend so much.”
The third?
“Oral sex and masturbation practiced on another. In general there is a punitive attitude to orgasm, it refuses to talk about the sexual organs as an object of pleasure. The idea of making love,in this strongly Catholic culture,is justified by the act of procreation. at 16 you should have other conversations: make love to enjoy yourself.”

From Ashram to Strict Motherhood: A Portrait of contradictions
A childhood spent flitting between primary schools in Milan,London, and India, following the path of her Osho-following parents, shaped a life defined by contradiction. Her adolescence was equally jarring – the free-spirited environment of a Pune ashram juxtaposed with the rigid structure of Milan’s Beccaria high school. This upbringing fostered a complex personality, one she describes as “hippie and bourgeois,” a child of “no rules” raised by a “Nazi mother.”
Now, as a mother herself, she embodies a different kind of strictness. “I’m the strictest mother in the whole neighborhood,” she asserts, firmly rejecting the concepts of pocket money or rewards for good grades. “It’s the least you should do.” When her daughters express envy over friends’ scooters, her response is direct: “Are you annoyed? I work and earn to support you, yoru job is study.”
Looking back, she acknowledges the irresponsibility inherent in her unconventional upbringing. While initially perceiving her nomadic childhood as a carefree “playground,” she later recognized the risks taken by adults who entrusted children with a perilous level of autonomy. “When I became a mother,” she explains, “I thought: what the hell where my parents thinking?” The freedom to smoke and stay up all night, a life of “total anarchy entrusted to the child’s self-management,” now seems reckless.
She explored these formative years in a book, a project driven by a need to confront her past – “Osho, my father and my mother, those slightly therapeutic things that we self-centered people think that others give a damn about.” she readily admits to a high degree of self-absorption, rating herself a “good 12” on a scale of 1 to 10, and acknowledging her tendency to seek the spotlight. “But I have great awareness of this mental perversion.”
Even her current pursuits reflect this duality. She finds parallels between the seemingly disparate activities of meditation and live television (“Kilimangiaro” on Rai3). Both, she argues, demand presence – “nothing like live television or meditation in the Himalayas that brings you to the here and now, to stay in the present moment.” though she concedes, “I’m not a good meditator and I do much…
Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet Spotted Filming ‘the Wager’ in Boston: First Look at scorsese’s New Epic
Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese is currently filming his highly anticipated new movie, The Wager, in Boston, and the first images of stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet on set have emerged. The film, based on david Grann’s non-fiction book The wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder, promises a gripping past drama set in the 18th century.
The photos, captured by paparazzi on Tuesday, show DiCaprio and Chalamet in period costumes, filming a scene near a waterfront location transformed to resemble 1740s London. DiCaprio appears weathered and intense, fitting the role of Captain George Glass, while Chalamet portrays John Bulkeley, a young sailor who leads a mutiny.
The Wager tells the true story of the British naval vessel HMS Wager, which ran aground off the coast of Patagonia in 1741. The surviving crew, led by Captain Glass, faced starvation, disease, and infighting as they attempted to return to England. the narrative unfolds through conflicting accounts, raising questions about leadership, survival, and the nature of truth.
The cast also includes brendan Gleeson, Jemima Kirke, and Burn Gorman. Scorsese is known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to bring historical events to life with compelling characters and dramatic tension. This project marks his return to historical epics after Killers of the Flower Moon.
Production is expected to continue in Boston for several weeks before moving to other locations. The Wager is slated for release in 2025.https://www.davidgrann.com/the-wager
